First time riding again after almost a decade off the saddle. Maiden ride of my new GT Aggressor Pro.

Stayed on the road for this just in case I run into some mechanical problems. Thank God the only things I needed to adjust were the angle of my stem and handlebar, and my right brake lever and shifters.

Also, with the slight uphill route I chose it made it easier for me to gradually bring my cycling legs back and to start killing off the rat that I didn’t know grew in my chest when riding.

The sub-10 mile ride also reminded me of how much I enjoy this kind of workout — the dynamic kind.

COVID-19 still in the wild is my main concern why I’m not too keen on getting back on the mats (BJJ,) mountain biking will, again, help me bring my weight down and my health to an ideal level.
